Today someone asked me what are your favorite things.....my prompt answer was flowers and ,children.......it was not at all difficult to answer.This is so true for me , plants and children are two things which pull me out of whatever I m doing or however busy I am ....you all will agree they nourish our souls....they make you rich instantly.
but then I started thinking about my friend's question.......do I hv some more favorite and some less favorite plants???
I started making an endless list...
I m starting to share my list from today...
today I will like to share some garden flowers which I like for there profuse and long lasting flowering
first in my list will be

1.POPPY...other common name shirly poppy/corn poppy
this is a popular garden flower and one of my most loved , this is medium tall plant and comes in single and double varieties. flowers can be single or double,you will find Poppy in many colours as red,white,pink etc,
ideal for growing in beds and for mass effect
2. PHLOX....this is ideal for a brilliant and long- lasting display of colours in garden.phlox is excellent for beds,borders and pots,this brings a grand floral display in your garden
3.CINERARIA....this is one of the best shade loving plants.comes in many vibrant colours,differant forms grown are tall and compact,it is excellent for growing in shaded and semi- shaded situations.for pots as well as in beds
4PETUNIA..
...one of my all time favorite for it's profuse blooming,this also comes in many colours and flowers can be single and double.petunias are very good for borders,beds,mass planting and window boxes.plants are very free flowering which keep flowering for a very long time
list of my favorite flowering plants is endless ,for now only four of these
one more plant which I like so much , is favorite of many -,Dahlia....it's easy to grow and is very rewarding,can be grown from cuttings,bulbs and seed
preserving dahlia bulbs also need some know how,so I think next time I will talk about how to preserve dahlia bulbs.
